    [Chron] Les Alexander plans to extend Morey’s contract

    No surprise here. Also reiterates what Morey’s been saying about no major deal being in the works for the upcoming trade deadline.

    Common sense. Morey's done a great job rebuilding the franchise in wake of the Mac-Yao era, and keeping us competitive at the same time! One of the best gMs in the league. We are very Lucky! Good thing Les knows it. And he's got the perfect mix of dorky and cool! In Morey we Trust!

    The criticism of Morey for so many years was that while he could get assets, he couldn't get the big deal done because stats<<<people skills.
