    Stop the presses! Olajuwon's contract with Spalding apparently is done... Is there any chance we see the Dream on Nike commercials? Like, "I am not your role model"?

    Hakeem has said several times over the years, that he chose Spalding because: manufacturing particulars (the committment to content and "non-sweatshops" production), a previous relationship with some of the management team (promotional and Spalding), etc .... But the biggest reason: they offered a good quality shoe at an affordable price.

    Nike may make a good quality dog, but as to affordability ........... well, NBA star brand name price tags are hefty, to say the least.
