Tracy McGrady on the magic. I also always have liked Paul Pierce for some reason.

    1) Reggie Miller or Rik Smits equally (Pacers fan)
    2) Sabonis overall

Penny Hardaway and Kevin Johnson but Kenny Smith made me want to shoot the 3 Ball.

Hakeem my pops took me too alot of games when I was younger.

Obviously every kid who hooped loved mj as did I.

And personal favorites growing up as I got a little older were Kobe, penny, iverson,VC, and KG.

Honerable mentions: sf3, cat mobley, baron Davis, Shaq and everyone on those 2000-2003 sac kings team. Literally one if the best teams to watch on tv really liked Portland also around those yrs.

Paul pierce was a fav of mine too cause he was at KU when my sister went there still my fav college team to this day. I remember wishing all the time that the rockets could done how trade tmac for pierce even tho most ppl I new thought we would be getting ripped off. I just felt like his game would have been perfect next too Yao.

And I almost forgot cause they were dark times for me cause of the success/could har been success. I'm a huge Yao Ming fan really one of the most talented big man to ever play the game and iv been around long enough and followed enough basketball. It's my opinion but I truly believe had he not got hurt he would have went down as a top 10 center of all time. With at least 2 chips. Guy was an absolute monster on the block and had the complete offensive game really not a single hole in his game from an offensive stand point. He could shoot post up with a variety of moves could pass very well as was a good rebounder not great and also hit his free throws better than any big in the history of the game. Defensively he was a problem for all teams as he was just HUGE.

I know alot of ppl have bad memories because of the injuries but he was extreamly talented a winner and one of the best players in the NBA who truly dominated his position when on the court.
