Mine has been averaging around $150/month in the winter and $230/Summer. Two story new home, 3200 sq. ft. Pretty much everything is gas though and my wife is home most of the day so the AC constantly runs, although I do turn off the AC to the bottom of the house after Summer is over. You have 2400 sq. ft less than me and your bill is only around $30 less. That's crazy.

LOL. I wonder how many of us thought of this when reading the thread title?

I live in a 950 square foot loft with 30' ceilings. My light bill in the summer can be up to $350 because of the damn loft ceiling, skylight and large windows. In the winter, it has been as low as $25.

Just got my bill in the mail today. 2500 sq foot 2 story house built back in '01. My light bill was $81. It barely exceeds $200 in the summer time.
