probably the way you try to jump with one leg, you are not creating the jumping force correctly from one leg
I'm pretty much like the exact opposite I can dunk on occasions jumping off one leg, but can barely touch the rim jumping off two legs how do you do layups then op with a 7' one foot vertical..
that's not nice. Clearly OP has MS. But really, he has to be doing something seriously wrong to not be able to jump higher than that.
could be a technique issue here. when you're running and jumping you tend to go more horizontal as compared to vertical with a dead jump. you should be able to do more than 7 if you can go 24 with a dead jump. try to jump straight up rather than forward.. if you're running your momentum will carry you forward anyways.
That's my guess He isn't jumping up but rather forward. Even though you're running forward you still have to gather yourself and go up
technique. adam linkenauger. watch video below then look for his video on 2 foot jumping. dont really have to buy the program. /thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLt18n4AE5c
This video could help also. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/N1tMlXsFXOA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
try taking off from two instead of one, some people are natural one legged or two legged jumpers. Practice your take offs and foot planting.
Thanks a lot for the advice guys. I appreciate it. Maybe I was exaggerating. TBH I have no idea what my running vertical is; I just know it's super low. Maybe it's 12''. I'll try to measure next time I play.
