Tonight I think everyone did a good job of getting the ball to Yao but he didn't deliver. Yao looked really tired and sluggish out there so the season must be taking it's toll on the guy.
Normally he would have spun passed Bradley much quicker and got some of those baskets Shawn blocked. This, to me, gave the Mav's the upper hand. IMO Steve had a good game for what he could do. Dallas was playing a zone the whole game which didn't allow much penetrating for anyone. So basically the game plan was to get Yao on a roll on the inside and it would open it up for everyone else. Unfortunately Yao had an off game and the plan backfired on us, turning us to an erratic offense that lost us the game (there was no plan B). So IMO this game wasn't a bad one, come on, who thought Bradley would be any kind of factor in the game?

Ok, first you posted in another thread on the same subject matter.

You decided you were so very clever and thought an entirely new thread would be a much worthy stage to express your profound thoughts.

First, no one blamed Steve Francis for not getting Yao the ball. This is just your weak attempt to try blaming Yao for a loss in which he was a particpant but far from the worst culprit.

Dallas was just the better team and they hit shots from all over the floor. Although Shawn Bradley did a good job, it was Nowitzki who basically killed the Rockets.

Yao struggled early but he basically carried the entire team during the 3rd quarter. We were still in the game but Mo Taylor got hurt and the bench couldnt do squat. By the time Yao got back into the game, it was over.

Also, Steve was hurt and he couldnt contribute as much on the offensive end.

I sense this is the "I'll get even with all the people who constantly blame Steve and why doesn't Yao get the same criticism wah wah wah" post...

Congratulations - Your coming out party was a huge success. Im sure you were dying for this opportunity.

The Rockets got Yao the ball tonight and he didn't come through against Shawn Bradley, this is true. But the bench couldn't score and Yao may be tired, so what? This is the best team in the NBA, the Mavs have our number, we can not beat them, at least not now.

What the hell are you two on about? Firstly, I was not saying anyone is blaming Steve for this game but for previous games that he has been blamed for. Second, Yao WAS slow out there and did get beaten, I am not dissing Yao in any way shape or form. I decided to make a new thread because I wanted to see what the Steve haters thought about this game. I am a Yao fan too you know, no need to start all this name calling and stuff, geeez!

You said this, you also said you created a new thread simply to see 'what Steve haters thought about this game'. You don't want to create a new thread only to only create disbute, you are not appreciated at all to try to prove 'Steve is good' by saying 'Yao is bad'. again, a troll.

Hmmmm, your pretty damn ignorant, read what I have said! I repeat, I am a Yao fan and I was not saying Yao is bad in any way, shape or form. I was just trying to say that Yao had an off night because he was tired.
Also, how is this making me a troll? Find out what a troll is before you start name calling.....

yeah i was combining your last post with this new thread of yours.
but yeah, i agree Yao was a big soft puss there for awhile but the dude turned it on there during the third and we made a run but then he was promptly benched by Rudy and of course was then brought back in during the fourth at the 5 1/2 minute mark, which by that time we were down by like 15. enough is enough i just dont care anymore, im gonna finish this drink and expand my weekday nightlfe beyond this nightly attachment for the Rockets. im about to split up with them.
