I think I have seem a little more meat on D-Mo's frame than at the beginning of the year. The weight room and D-league have him looking good.

I just can't wait till after the Rockets dump a PF at the trade deadline so we can see DMo in games more often and find out exactly what we have in him.

Can I point out that maybe a reason why we did not see a lot of Morris last year is the day before he was going to be called back to the Rockets he blew out his ankle in a Vipers game.. Daryl Morey was at that game and even came over to the sidelines (End court line where Morris sat in a folding chair off court) to help out. Morris rolled his ankle real bad.

That's why Morris missed out in the NBA last year and why he is a better player this year.. He knows it can all end real fast.

t-jones was nba ready the day he got drafted. remember the game at lakers, he scored 8 points in 5 minutes. d-mo may or may not be ready. in the limited time he has played so far, looking like you can not handle the physicality is rather meaningless. he needs at least 5-10 games to get accustomed and acclimated to actual nba play before we see if he can adjust to it. he hasn't ever played important minutes either, when the game outcome is undecided. if both players don't get some valuable playing experience this season, it will be something of a failure and disappointment, the season i mean, even if the Rockets make the playoffs. it could have a mental effect. how many players do not play at all their rookie season then turned into great players? when the rockets amnestied scola, they said the reason was to create playing time for the younger players.

I think D-mo's time will come up, some of you may think he is too soft but i think he will adapt, give him the rest of the year and the summer. It's his first year in the NBA, if in 2 years he is the same player then yes u have an argument but i think he will become a serviceable player if not great player by the time he is 25-26 years of age.

I disagree, and the fact that he's been struggling in the D league lately shows it.

Favors only started to establish himself in the last couple of months from last season. Until then the "bust" tag was being thrown around.
