I have nothing against playing tough, but when you are pathetic defensively and can't stop the other team from scoring 120 or 140 points, that's not playing "tough" - that's just playing dirty. That means your panties are in a wad and you are frustrated at your pathetic play and have to resort to bush league tactics. This is the Warriors right now.
Eh. Team full of soft guys with one "goon". Not a "tough" team at all. Mark Jackson has zero chance of that team being a hard nosed, defensive team. Much like I don't expect the Rockets to be a defensive team, the coach needs to know the limitations of his roster.
I have no problem with a hard foul especially when the game is undecided. But, the hard foul out of frustration because you got your butt whooped is players (and coaches) letting their emotions gets the better of them. Losses happen, blow outs happen, that's not license to take someones head off. I like that in both cases for the Warriors this week it has backfired.
Agreed. Golden State was a team that I could sorta root for until these two whuppings got them butt-sore. I'll just lump them in with the Mavericks from here on out.
