On its anniversary, I just want to say how grateful I am that I was able to witness (and am still witnessing) such a phenomenal series of events that gave me goosebumps from watching basketball for the first time in my life. It's like every underdog sports movie (like Rocky or The Mighty Ducks) except that it's not a movie. No silver spoon in the mouth, just good hard work, a lot of faith, and seizing an opportunity when given. I've been inspired to try harder in life, and I hope you have too. Sure it could end at any time, but that just makes every game just that much more special. One day it'll be all over...but I'll never forget the feelings and emotions evoked in me. Even the underdog has his day in the sun.
