According to a Seattle radio station, the Sonics and Bucks are working on a trade to send Gary Payton and Desmond Mason to Milwaukee for Ray Allen.

Doesn't make much sense. Both teams need front court help in the worst way. I don't see how swapping guards would help either team much.

It would actually help the Bucks, Cassell is not a real PG, they could start Payton and Redd and bring Cassell off of the bench.

So then what do they do with Desmond Mason? He seems too good to be 7th or lower in the Bucks rotation.

Didn't the deadline pass? How could they be "working" on a deal.

What are you talking about? That does not make any sense! Why would you have Sam Cassel and Gary Payton on the same team!

Doesn't make sense at all to me, Seattle would never give up both of them. No way.

Espn just reported that the Sonics have made a trade, so I don't know if Payton was involved , but could be.

    Whatever.

Move it to NBA Dish guys. There are enough trade "proposals" around here that actually involve the Rockets.

If the Sonics pull off this trade, they will officially have the dumbest management in the league.

First they trade Shawn Kemp, who was in his prime, for VIN BAKER! Then they fire "Mr. 60 wins" George Karl. Now this?

    Kill Wally Walker!!!!!!

Of course, a trade could have taken place but the announcement is being delayed until later today.

    That is always a possiblility.
