yeah, it was on the "trade rumor heard thread".. also says that on ESPN.com.. It makes sense, if a team is working down to the wire to get a deal done, you hope they're concentrating on the deal, not setting up press conferences, etc.. but my money is on no big trades today.
In the report for the Celtics/Denver trade it metions that it was completed hours before the deadline, and it still hasn't been officialy announced yet, two sources went public about it anonymously. So there may have been other trades that haven't been announced/leaked to the public yet.
Sorry to post again, but heres the info: Boston acquired Mark Blount and Mark Bryant from Denver for Shammond Williams and a second-round pick. http://msn.espn.go.com/nba/news/2003/0220/1511804.html
The only trade Espn stated dealing with the Rockets was with Hotlanta. Eddie Griffin and MoT for Shareef. Yet the Rockets turned them down. They have to much blind fate in Griffin. I love Griffin and MoT, but I wouldn't have turned Shareef.
big trade was payton, mason to the bucks for allen, ollie and someone else...it's on www.realgm.com.... go read it.
a friend of mine told me a little a go that ny traded spree for cassell, with it waiting for "approval" by the nba. he said he saw it on espn. i haven't seen anything to confirm this yet, but it would make a lot of sense. the bucks would be damn nasty then. but it's just hearsay at the moment.
