Add Beverly to the list too. He got two 20 minutes games on his first 2 games with the Rocket and then been benched forever.

Love these two guys. They both seem to have the right attitude. Really hope we can find a way to hang on to them and develop them properly. I have always been convinced that either might be the long-term solution to our problem at the 4-spot. I trust our GM to know what we have in those two, and not to give them away for some fly-by-night player, putting an end prematurely to our rebuilding process.

You are referring to Morris & Patterson being washed up and your sig says this-

Rockets "Trade Deadline" to do list:
    - Make a trade(s) that involves Morris & Patterson in some form or fashion.
    - Add Donatas Motiejunas into the rotation.

D-Mo already weighs in around 240 pounds, he's a speed player, not a power one. He doesn't need to bulk up. He's all about speed, hence the post moves and everything else on his arsenal. People should really stop with the "needs to bulk up" excuse. If he bulks up, he loses speed. Simple as that.

Yup and he's said as much himself. DMo replied on Twitter that if bulking up means losing any speed, he won't do it.

I am just shocked how many dumbasses there are when it comes to developing in sports training.

It's a very fine science and an intricate process to a decent amount of muscle, and not lose a drop in quickness. Regardless of the type of muscle, or where you put it, it does increase the load on someone's body while in constant motion and change of direction. You have more inertia and momentum to fight, and sheer stress can eventually do away with knees and ligaments.

So it's not as simple as merely bulking up, and it might take some adjustment on his part on playing a little differently. In any case, D-Mo clearly has to keeping getting experience to get used to the NBA game. I believe he'll get there to a decent degree regardless of changes in his muscle mass.

Yeah, I did call them washed up, but I was just playing. I wasn't serious. They're obviously young and still improving.

Also the post in my sig has more to do with opening up minutes for D-Mo and Jones, then a slam on Morris and Patterson. Hence why it says add D-Mo to rotation (it should also say add T-Jones, but I forgot to put it in there). :)

I only agree with your first sentence and that's it.
He just needs to get experience? did it work with Jordan Hill?

David Andersen was as experience as you can get.

And people here a misquoting what dmo said!!!

"If it means losing speed" He is not even sure, which as new young athlete you don't know much. Kevin agrees he needs to get stronger but nobody is showing him business and highly doubt they know what the **** they are doing ala Yao ming.

Getting experience worked for every man that eventually became a decent NBA player. Or are you calling him a bust already? Lin needs more NBA experience as a starter. So does Harden.

Its that YOUNG guys need MINUTES to develop. But then its only for SELECTED young guys it seems

    - Young players need MINUTES
    - Rockets have 12 young players
    - There's room for ONLY 9 players, young or older

Rockets DON'T play YOUNG players, MISUSING the young players they have?

Young players Patterson and Morris and Parsons don't count, but Young players Motiejunas, Terrance Jones and Greg Smith DO count? There's no such thing as EXCESS

    :confused::confused:

I guess when Rockets are the first with a 15 man rotation, and have players alternate playing ever other game and they expand the games to 15 minute quarters will there be enough to go around.
