A true profesional. If I played pro sport I would try to go about it the same way as Patterson does.

So, you would suck at rebounding and not try very hard?

If you watched more you would of heard him addressing his rebounding issue but I do like that he said one way or another Rockets would end up in the playoffs. Give him some time hes already showed he can rebound he just needs more effort.

Patterson is playing pretty good, I can see how much he's improved this season. He had a foot injury and lost his starting spot and can see a glut of young hungry PFs over his shoulder and he gets no respect on this board. Can't be that easy.

Try grabbing boards when you've got Asik there sucking up everything in sight, what Patterson just needs to do is the little things right, keep up that defensive intensity, blow up those PNRs and set hard screens and know when to slip and roll, make sure he boxes out his man so they can't crash the glass and contest for the boards that fall his way.

He ain't doing too bad, especially considering he has a marginalised role in this 'offense'. Patterson and Asik are looking like a real good defensive duo in the last few games, and they were beasting last night until Mchale pulled Asik to run small.

Didn't think you were capable of making a non vitriolic post that wasn't about the coaching staff. Repped.

He's got a really quick, high release when he shoots which is there all day for the taking on the pick n pop, or on the penetrate and dish. I like that the coaches seem to be allowing more mid range jumpers. I see PPat, Parsons, and Lin all using it more than before.

WTF? Seriously, that's jut plain weird. What possible explanation could there be for that? I'm truly disturbed. Keep those two separated. Creepy as all hell.

Pat has indeed improved, and while I wish he would rebound and be more physical, he's a willing defender, he's got some range on his shot, and I think he's just now beginning to develop a post game. I'd be lying if I said he was our future at the 4, but he's indispensable at present because the only thing Morris can do is jack up 3s. I hope Pat keeps working and improving and if we do make a move to clear some space at the 4, I hope it's Morris, not Pat.

Patpat is a classy dude. Takes way too much **** from this board for a sophomore, as do the rest of the players, who I think are all pretty mature..but fans gonna be fans. Apart from crashing the boards I want Patpat to make contact on screens and roll to the ring more often. Watching him play I think he's more athletic than Smith, and also way more skilled, but he's looking for his jumper way too often. He should try to get at least one dunk a game, cause he really does get up there.

So now that Pat said he reads clutchfans people are going to make excuses for his rebounding. I would expect him to lose the battle against someone like the Manimal but I don't want to see him get manhandled. On the other hand, he did more than manhandle A. Davis, and you can see he was putting up the effort, but then again, the rookie is not a challenge for him physically. Put yo ass down Pat, box out some more.

Lin could be CP's best man, not another way around.
