[WaPo] Yao Ming stays involved in basketball in China

    Wang Zhelin has been very impressive so far. He maybe the most promising prospect and the most likely to succeed in NBA.

    It's widely reported that he's truly 18/19 years old unlike players like Yi, and he's breaking all kinds of records for under-20 players in CBA this season.

    Zhou Qi is still too young(yes he's the most promising one if you don't care about age), so I think another player Yao mentioned maybe Muhao Li. That guy is less developed, but has serious potential - crazy combination of size, wingspan and athleticism. Most likely though, he would only be a defensive force in NBA someday.

    I can't wait to see his jersey go up in the rafters of the Toyota Center.

    There used to be stories of people in impoverished rural areas in the US making their own baskets and balls. They may not have optimal access to basketball, but it doesn't mean they don't have some access.
