Read my previous posts on this thread.

I never said Rudy wasn't a good coach, and I don't support this foolish endeavor.

I'm just starting to think that he is not the right coach for our current group of players, and I do think that Flip is currently a better coach than Rudy.

If we end up with the same record that the Wolves, we'd STILL be underachieving in my opinion.

We have more talent than they have. Either the pieces don't fit, and that's why we need a trade to shake things up, or Rudy is unable to assemble the puzzle.

I hope if we lose this game against the Lakers that more people will realize how woefully inefficient the Rockets offense is. And there is ONLY ONE PERSON TO BLAME FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I hope most of you watching the game were listening to the TNT feed with the Czar and Jeff Van Gundy. Those guys were pointing out how well the Lakers were executing and how poorly the Rockets are playing.

And now the TNT poll of which team will not make the playoffs:

    Rockets in a Landslide @ 45%

What are the different offensive sets we run? I see:

The Kind of Pick and Roll between Francis and Yao
    The Franchise Iso
Dump to Yao and he'll shoot or look to kick or hand off (after screening the defender)

Face it, RRU, Les is not going to throw away $10 mil. even if he wanted to get rid of Rudy (which he doesn't). Rudy will be part of this team for at least the next 2 years. Rudy IS the Rockets, so if you don't like him, you don't really like the Rockets. Maybe you should change your name to "Rockets-R-Them", and go cheer for the Jazz or T-Wolves...I hear they have excellent coaches.

People,it all starts at the top. It goes like this les own the team.He hires staff, then eventually a coach to led his team. His scouts bring in talent.Team drafts talent. The coach coaches talent with his game plan.Obiously his players follow the game plan for that game.If the team loses The blame goes back up to the coach plain and simple not the players. The players have talents but its up to the coach to let those talents grow and not squander them. This team had time to grow. What is missing is the tranfer of agressiveness and urgency to win every game.My goodness, since when this team has that to win 15 straight games? huh? Wheter you have young players or veterns players transfer that urgency and aggressiveness down.tell them if you miss 5 shots in a roll pass pass and pass the ball.Being a showoff an't going to help you look like a great ballplayer. The old days had some valuable lessons to be learned.Every player knew team wasn't I , but We as a team can shot for those unlimited stars. Now of we can be the boston celts of the pass, man no limits on us. I know the past is the past, but those players grew up.
    P.S
Les no more pay for a player who can't bring consisentcy every night please

    Kiki -

If you have an opinion be it critical or otherwise, I might make an argument on the merits but I would never question your loyalty as a fan. I have been a hardcore Rockets fan since 1986, the year that the Rockets went up against the Celtics in the finals.

There have been many ups and downs since then and I have NEVER given up on the TEAM. However I have the right to be as critical as anyone else who considers themselves fans. I realize there are many many fans who will choose to only view things from a positive perspective. That's their choice.

I may not agree with everyone's point of view, but mine is no less valid than yours. So, since I suspect that I have about 20 years on you and because I doubt your Rockets heritage goes back more than decade, I suggest you stick to the debate rather than making personal attacks.

OK, Lex Alexander's greatest team ever just lost to Kobe Bryant on one leg, Robert Horry, and nine scrubs. We make scrubs into all-stars. The other team's scrubs.

I have been saying this for a long time. If the system were right, Dream should win more than 2 championships. As a fan, we should be able to watch the classic Rockets-Bulls NBA final. That would be a great treat!

I know this probably belongs in the game thread, but, to his credit, Rudy has gone away from his usual sub rotation and allowed Steve to rest and Mooch to play more because Mooch is hitting his shots and running the offense better than Steve.

I just hope that Steve in his attempt to be a "Point Guard in today's game" doesn't shoot us out of the game like he did last night!!

I'm still prepared to show Rudy the door.

Hey Rockets-R-US, do you think you could do a count and see how many signitures you have so far?
