Did anyone saw that Jazz vs Pacers game? The Pacers were down by 2 and only a few seconds left on the clock. Paul Milsap was inbounding the ball and he hit the back of the backboard with the ball, it bounces off the backboard, hit his teammate and Milsap ran in and grab it only to get foul.

But I think that should of been out of bounds and the Pacers to get the ball back. What was weird was the officials didn't even check the replay or anything because rules are, the officials are allow to check the replays during 2 minutes left in the 4th and all of overtime. The officials didn't even bother checking the replay and let Paul Milsap shoot FTs.

I don't really care for either team but IMO, I would like the officials to be more fair and just do the right thing. I really don't know why they didn't want to check the replay and I think because of that, they pretty much cost the chance of Indiana winning in Utah.

    Thoughts?

    Millsap for a max-contract.

I don't think the officials could check the replay on THAT particular thing. I might be wrong. But if they didn't even bother to check, I would at least be open to the assumption that they can't check for out of bounds on that specific play where the player hits it out of bounds. The only reason I say this is because I know replay rules are pretty specific on what you can and cannot check.

Probably can't check it because Millsap was fouled.

NBA refs are trash though and aren't even watching the ball hit off the backboard.

I saw the game, the refs gifted Paul George two free throws to tie the game at the end of regulation.

The Pacers didn't deserve the game anyway. For a defensive team, that was just an awful D. If the jazz were good / had Mo Williams healthy, it would've been a blowout.

This is why the Pacers still need Granger. Lance Stephenson goes into a little slump, the Pacers end up playing DJ Augustin big minutes, and defense becomes mediocre.

At first I thought it should've been a turnover but after hearing and reading the rule it's a legal play. Marc Davis is total crap, but he got it right on this one.
