As I have thought all along, Yao Ming is the real "Franchise," "Dinesty" or whatever you wanna call it. He deserves to be called that because he plays with a lot of passion, dominates and he makes the other players better. He is the real deal, Francis is a fraud. How good can a player really be if he can't even get his team to the playoffs, ALWAYS thinks shot first, plays consistently dumb and consistently get's lit up by inferior competition. Stats don't me every thing (see Glen Robinsion). As for Cuttino the "cancer." I will use his words against him, his game is COMPLETE GARBAGE. The only way he can be "effective" is by taking close to 20 shots per game, all on iso's. Plays no defense and like his running mate consistenty plays stupid. This guy is made for the streets not the NBA. The rockets would be SO MUCH better if they had an unselfish pure shooting guard like David Wesley or maybe even Redd who plays for the Bucks. I don't even want to get started on Rudy T. He is just not the right coach for this team, that has proven to be pretty obvious.

Uh....Why are you guys chewing him out? You cant really argue a lot against any of what he has said. These are very obvious problems which most Rockets and non-Rockets fans see with this team.

If he keeps his mouth shut and does not post on the board, these problems go away??

GOOD post. A fan could be passionate in their relationship with their respective team, but shouldn't loose their objectivity assessing problems that haunt your team.

For just a while, take off that rose colored glass of yours, and be frankly and honest about the actual situation IMO

this post does not contain objectivity. If it were objective it would mention Steves wilingness to literally dive after every loose ball and bang down low for rebounds. it would mention that Cuttino is infact a very good defender and clearly puts out more effort than anyopne else on the team. If what Cuttino does is streetball, what does Steve do? he is much more street that cuttino. or Moochie. he is almost totaly street. maybe you have not actually seen streetball. If Cuttino was street he would be dunking and not putting up slick layups his whole career.

if you want to dog a player, you can go after our barely producing forwards. call them cancers, because obviously every player that has a few bad games is a cancer eating the team from the inside out like a dennis rodman. B. S. cancer is the stupidest term to attach to mobley. that kid is/has been great fro the team. he has half the team over for dinner every night! he tool a much lower payday TO STAY WITH THE ROCKETS. he is not making as much as steve/rice/taylor/cato

As a cuttino fan first and a rockets fan 2nd, I truely belive Cuttino would be much better off if he did go to Toronto. at least he would have a city that respected and supported him. a city that saw his worth.

    you suck

This thread shows many, if not most, old timers here are SF, Cat lovers, and they are really covert Yao haters. I suspect many of them are forced to jump on Yao's bandwagon only after Yao had those breakout games.

Reading over the posts, where did you get that from? You know, it is possible for people to like Steve, Cat, and Yao Ming.

Maybe you should stick speaking for yourself and not others.

I was a Yao believer after seeing the videos Clutch provided BEFORE the draft. I knew he would be a great addition.

I think we have a great combination of players and just need time to put it all together...as a team.

Your whole post lost credibility right there, imo. So I take it, you rather have your favourite player go off for 40 points each night on 35% shooting, on a losing team, INSTEAD of the team he is playing for win.

You know, people talk about teamwork and playing together, yet insist on blaming one or two people after a loss...

we win as a team and lose as a team

This is one of the dumbest paragraphs I have ever read on this site. Have you seen what has been happening in Toronto? The Voice of Reason...puhh, far from!

Cat is a decent defender. Kobe scored 52 on one leg.

Yeah Kobe is on a roll but he scored that many even with double team help.

As far as being a cancer. A cancer is someone who is disruptive to the the team, a distraction.

Cat's a team player but just doesn't always make the right decisions.

Like many players in the NBA, he thinks he's better than he actually is. That's not a good thing but calling him a cancer is ridiculous.

Actually, Steve does not dive for lose balls, he falls on them when he loses his balance.

In fact during last nights game Fisher and Steve were fighting for a loose ball and Fisher dives for it and Francis bails out...the commentators even said that Francis has to DIVE for that ball to show the rest of the team that he means business.

Francis has a heart for sure, but his head is missing sometimes.
