I fall in and out of love with the guy, but I have a feeling he is about to start a streak of play that makes us all happy we have him (for now). His shooting percentage will go back to where it should be and his defense on kobe will be great.

He has done the "hot streak" thing in the 2nd half of the last 2 years.

    No time like the present.

I think Cat shot 47% in the second half of last season. I think is havind a harding adjusting mentally to his new role. Once he gets comfortable as more of a catch and shoot player, he will start lighting it up again.

Does anyone else think that we should let Posey man up on Kobe instead of Cuttino?

nah, mobley is a bit quicker. put him on kobe at the beginning if he can't handle him, try francis. francis is a stronger than mobley.

what was up with Mo Taylor making fun of Cuttino Mobley last night and calling him "zoolander" lol, that was not cool. :D

Id be happy with just a 4-10 or 5-11 type of shooting consistency from Mobley along with smart passing, good decison making, and good defense.

Yao's excellence magnifies Francis and Mobley's weaknesses.

Who's the students and whos the teacher?
    :D

Francis and Mobley = two grasshoppers

Now when's the last time Francis and Mobley have an effective game together? They both need the ball to be effective and it makes it hard to get both of them going in the same game I guess. Not to mention that we need to (and should) go inside most of time, so they can't dominate the ball to get both of them going. I think the only solution is for Mobley to develop more of an off-the-ball game. I hope he can do it otherwise we might just need to think about a trade.

This is part of the problem with Rudy as coach of Mobley. Rudy likes those streaky 2 guards (Mad Max was one). I'd rather have some consistency.

Now begins the Rockets streak of uninspiring performances on the way to a sub .500 record...

in all fairness to cat, no one could have stopped kobe last night. i thought mobley played pretty good defense...he did a great job of staying up in kobe's face. bottom line, kobe just kept hitting shots. sometimes that happens. but i was impressed with cat's effort on the defensive end last night, nevertheless.

his shooting needs some work though! he's just in a funk...this too shall pass.
