So true, this is like the greatest scene ever. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XqctjMF0Mvo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This looks pretty good, as can be expected from such an accomplished director. Little Tony looks young in this. No disrepect to Donnie Yen but Tony is the better actor. IP Man II was not great. Donnie does have martial arts experience so that's a plus for him.
What I'd like to know is when they gonna make a good Bruce Lee movie??? Ip Man might be the Grandmaster but Bruce Lee is The Dragon nikka!!!!
I would have started with Chunking Express, Fallen Angel, In The Mood For Love and 2046. Then My Blueberry Nights, Ashes of Time and Days of Being Wild.
THE GRANDMASTERS — English subtitles <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XKWXnNfAXfM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
They are very different directors. I recently watched In the Mood for Love and is one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen, aesthetically wise.
2046 is the WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED!! EVER.. worst PIECE OF CRAP EVER.. OMFG JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT MOVIE MAKES ME MAD AND WANT TO PUNCH A BABY.. DO NOT WATCH 2046. POS MUTHERF'n CRAP.. ARGHH

January 31st??? Damn that's pretty fast, is it just limited to NY/L.A???? I hope Houston gets a screening of this...
I think he has a bigger audience on the international festival/arthouse circuit than the asian market. His films have a very western, french new wave feel.
