    You can also argue being 7"1 360/3 time champion/MVP, Shaq should have some monsterous dunks on a rookie.

    A player has to be able to block a shot of someone shorter them him to prove that he is real? Wow, we've got a load of unreal players in the NBA.

    BTW, if Yao stood toe-to-toe with Shaq literally, Shaq would cringe because of the soreness of his big toe. :D

    Im actually one of those guys that actually wish Shaq would play.....It wont be as much fun if hes not there but still,(Shaq is also on my fantasy team) hopefully Yao will have a good game. If Shaq and Kobe dont play, well get blown out....pure and simple. Fisher will drop in 30....... Rockets, please pass the ball to Yao today, please! For God sake please!!

    Sorry....If the Rockets wanna win this game the Rockets need to pass the rock and Steve needs to have more than 1 assist today. Lets go guys, Im pumped, lets win anotha won in LA!!!

    it doesn't matter how strong shaq dunks on yao, it still only worth 2 points. plus, yao didn't back down from the challenge. if shaq can score 30 on yao, i'm positive that yao can score at least 20 against shaq.

    does yao need to block any shots to be dominant on defense? the answer is no because he only needs to patrol the lane and put his hands up to alter guys' shots.

    Did you ever see A Shaq's power dunk get block? All the lakers' game I saw, the other center simply turn away from Shaq and let Shaq power dunks on them. At least Yao has the courage to go up strong and try to block his dunk. I can't think of another center that can do that against Shaq. The only other guy I saw do it is Tim Duncan, and he's a power forward.

    I completely disagree with the heigh advantage argument. I see Shaq power moved other defender aside as he goes up strong for a dunk, the ferocious power! It's hard to imagine anyone can stand tall and not back away from that.

    Yeah, Yao still can't match Shaq for a whole game. What the heck you expect him to do? You expect a newly arrived Rookie to have a career day with a sure hall of famer arguably most dominant player in the game.

    I am really satisfied Yao's first match up with Shaq. He is a lot stronger than I thought, and he has heart.

    hey we lost to the cavs, hawks, heat, ect...


    I just hope that we can get it together. Hopefully Steve can feed Yao the ball all night and take advantage of that hole in the middle. Also, Mobes needs to have a good shooting night too.

    Hopefully the rockets will still show up to play, even though they are not facing such a hard opponent now.

    It is starting to look like the whole Shaq being out thing was just another one of Shaq's games. According to TNT, he could still play.

    I'd bet on it.

    I'd also bet on a 20+ point loss.

    The rockets going to win, I can see it in Yao's eyes, he will have a great game tonight.

    Did anyone watch the LIsten up! before the game??
    Charles says it a few times that rockets don't utilize yao enough!

    Whats new.I have the NBA Leauge Pass and I only get the other teams feed and I swear every team has said or asked the same thin"Why don't the Rockets get the ball to Yao more?" or "Yao needs more touches." Rudy just doesn't get it!! Lets hope for a win :) :)
