Steve Nash speaks the best English in the NBA (he's Canadian, it MUST be true!), and no one is OPENLY gay in the NBA.

However, I'm pretty sure that there are no gay male figure skaters.

Steve should just not say anything to anybody, because every time he says something, he ends up being hated more and more...

I didn't see the interview, but you are wrong about Steve not getting his 44 in the flow of the offense, Steve had a very good game that night, he didn't force anything, and he did get his points in the flow of the offense. Oh yea, in case you didn't know, they won that game also. So chill out.

That's ridiculuous, Steve has never complained about playing with Yao. Marbury wasn't happy the whole time he was there. You people are stupid. I mean I hate to say thing like that, but comparing Steve to Stephon is Stupid.

people who say Steve is like Stephon=stupid people.

But he stills shoots too much, at a lower percentage, and likes to go one-on- one just as often. I think I'd rather have Francis right now.

pgabriel - I realize that we won, (I was at the game). And, if you had asked me before the replay whether Steve got his shots "in the flow of the offense", I would probably have said yes. But several of his turnovers were due to him trying to force his way to a shot that wasn't there.

Also, many of his shots were total ISO's. So, come on, ISO's are NOT in the flow of the game. That was my only point about his shooting.

I was much more upset about the blatant lies he told about how often they try to get Yao the ball. I mean saying "we try to get Yao the ball on EVERY possession"??????????? That's absolutely ludicrous and anyone who has watched the Rox (including their last game against Miami) would have to call that a lie or some pretty deep denial!!

Steve's stats in the L.A. victory, Jan 17,

    44pts, 12-21 fg, 6 boards, 11 assists, 7 turnovers,

besides turnovers, which Steve has had a problem with in wins and losses all season, this is a stellar performance.

Stats mean squat....all that matters is wins and loses.

I don't care if Steve plays with his ass hairs hanging out, as long as the Rockets win.

I think you are stupid. How old are you?
Almost the whole league and the media are praising Yao, how can Steve complain about playing with Yao openly? He likes Yao to be on the court so that he can porform better and score more. But he does not like getting Yao many touches to sacrifice his own shorts.
Observing the whole season up to now, Steve and Cutinno are the problems. It hurts theirs feelings to defer to Yao. Anybody with some talents wants to be the man on the team.
If I were Yao, I would leave this team if this situation continues.

I really hope that our team learns to play with Yao. If we are not contenders in 3 years, I think Yao will leave. His contract is done in 3 more years and that is about the time Shaq retires. Imagine Yao/Kobe duo. Kobe will be 28 and be at his prime and Yao will be the premier center in the league at age 25. Throw in some role playing scrubs and a championship coach like Jackson and you have another dynasty. That would be truly scary.

But for now, get Yao some touches!!!

This is entertainment, pure entertainment. A thread started about maturity has turned into a exclamation point war, name calling, questioning of sexual orientation, trying to dissect a sentence to determine "TRUE" meaning. I wonder what is next?

But I think when you start to dissect anyone's words, you start to come up with un-intended meanings to fit your own purpose. I don't think Steve's maturity should be questioned at all. On the other hand, the immaturity of some on this board is in full display in this thread.

The "immaturity" of some on this board has no effect on Rox,
while Steve's "immaturity" will hurt the team badly.

29 teams each with 15 Players and at least 5 Staff.
    29 X 15=435 , 29 X 5 =145, 435 + 145 =580.
    580 X 12% = Approx 70 persons
    70 divided by 29 teams =2.41/team
We should expect that there are at least two gay men on each NBA Team. In the 21st Century this fact should not be anything too surprising, or difficult to handle. It looks as though they are everywhere! So what!!

It should be a simple math:
(29+5)x12%=2.4. Two and a half gay men on each team. You have to have two for both of them to be true gay men.

    What Mad Yao disease??

Who can bring the ring? A dominating PG and several supporting role players or a dominating center and several supporting players? Figure it out yourself.

I think you meant (15+5)x12%=2.4 ;) Maybe the NBA should limit each team for no more than 16.66 players and coaches on the team (16.66x12%=1.99, less than two people), so that no romantic problems could arise. ;)

BTW, whoever says that the 12% thing is a proven fact? OK, that's waaaaay off topic. Not my fault, though. :D
