You mean the PG who some said should start over Lin?; like king1, or whatever his name is.

Hahaha d'antoni? Have you seen the lakers? Have you not heard what he's said about his own players? He's called them out as well. Doesn't really sound like he has "their back".

LMFAO I can't believe you guys. Yes, it's obviously an attempt to sabotage JLins career and make him look bad. Because you know, the coaches hate Lin. The answer to all our problems is Mike D'antoni.

If you've read the other game threads, you'd know I've done that. But thanks for the insult, much appreciated.

I have many times. Always gets buried under the excessive discussion about Lin. Maybe you should read back over the game threads.

Eh, he was doing okay, but he's got terrible hands. And this is compounded by our guards trying to force the ball down low to him when he's on the move. And the bounce passes.. it's a turnover waiting to happen. The creators have to know that Asik just sucks offensively. Yeah, you gave him a great pass rolling to the cup, but WTF is he gonna do with it? Just fumble it and drop it.

Agreed, the power forward is by far our weakest position. Morris is occasionally okay offensively, but he's got no D, which I think is because he is a 3, not a 4. Patterson is just invisible. Sure, he'll hit a jumper or two, but his D is non-existent. To make matters worse our defensive rotations are horrible. Bad coaching is the main culprit, we need a more defensive minded coach.

IDK what the deal with Parsons is, he seems solid one night but can't ever sustain it for a long stretch. And his perimiter defense is really bad, his rookie year he was a good defender, wonder what happened.

Agreed. Our offense is so predictable, right down to the pump fake and drive kickouts that EVERYONE on this team does (and usually unsuccessfully I might add). It's just hard to believe that this is the same team that was winning games a couple weeks ago.

Wonder if les is asking why is Lin being benched in the 4th so many times...

I mean if I was the owner, and I was the one who pushed my guys to get lin, I would ask the same thing.

Tonight was some of the most puzzling substitution patterns by McHale in a season full of them.

Also, does it appear to anyone else that the team quit midway around the 3rd quarter?

Agreed. Mike D is simply a terrible coach. Sure he might do a TAD better than McFail (anyone coach can tbh), but he's not gonna lead us into the playoffs and spark Linsanity 2.0 again.

Also, you guys should look up the Lakers vs. Knicks game introductions. The MSG crowd boo'd the crap out of Mike lol

Yeah...if D comes here we'll see the reverse of Harden and Lin now. Lin will be running the show and Harden will be the Melo of the team. It's not going to be good...Lakers are interesting...gun and run style with players that can't run.

Denver pulled away during the 3rd Q which I think made a huge impact on this game:

10:30 Parsons' TO & he fouled Iguodala shooting the 3 at the other end. (Bad foul - 3FTs for Iguodala)

09:35 Harden's TO leading to Iguodala's slam dunk

08:09 Denver's TO but Harden's layup on fast break was blocked by Gallinari (good transition defense by Denver)

05:57 Patterson Substitution replaced by Smith
05:57 Asik Substitution replaced by Morris

    05:57 HOU 57 DEN 59
Score was still pretty even at this stage despite the TOs & fouls.

    04:47 HOU 59 DEN 65
    Gallinari & McGee got hot.

04:36 Harden TO (Gallinari scored 3 at the other end)

02:39 Beverley TO (Denver's fast break missed)

02:22 Harden TO (Brewer scored 2pt on fast break)

01:55 Asik TO & fouled (Brewer shot 2 FT)

I would say this game was lost on the followings:

    1) Turnovers (6 TOs in the 3rd Q alone)
    2) Denver's good defense (got to give them credit)
    3) Unable to stop Denver's frontcourt (combined for 60pts)

Mchale's winning strategy is generating random sparks... I guess if you can make it completely random, we would be a .500 team?!

Can we go back to staggering minutes? Why did that suddenly fall out of fashion anyway?

You could be right about what he said about his Lakers' players, I don't know if what you're saying is correct because I didn't hear about what D'antoni said about Lakers' players; I did hear Gasol is getting benched or possibly traded. BUT, even if you're right doesn't mean i was wrong. I said D'antoni had Lin's back, I didn't say anyone else. At least LEARN HOW TO READ before you give me the above ignorant response, lol.

pergolas it's a consPiracy against harden? Remember Lin got his "sparks" when harden was injured? And then we started to win a lot of games? I think Mchale is trying to make this happen again. So he needs to do two things: Get harden injured and keep Lin healthy.... Random sparks coaching...
