I would guess Shaq, who did it three times (most recently January 12th & 14th 2005), and in back-to-back nights twice: http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=fta EDIT: Wade did it in 2006 and 2007
Durant and Westbrook had more FTs made than the Nuggets attempted. In their own building Looked it over and that is just ****ing ridiculous. I always knew Durant was getting 06-wade treatment but damn. How does the NBA justify **** like this?
Refs also called a crucial offensive foul on Nick Collison...did you watch the game? Also swallowed the whistle when Westbrook got hacked on his final desperation shot.
No I didn't watch the game but I heard it. From what I recall there were bull**** makeups in Denver's favor towards the end. The NBA's way of playing "Fair". Still messed up though.
I had no idea Westbrook goaltended the Nuggets' mascot's halfcourt shot attempt (that would have won the fans free food) TWICE. That's hilarious. I've have mixed feelings about WB, but that pretty much vaults him to the top of the list of my favorite players.
That was great! I like NBA players who are very competitive but also realize there is some levity needed and that entertaining fans is why the game is popular. Now we understand why the fans booed WB every time he touched the ball late. Good fun. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-6YXVx9eFEk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
durant doesn't get touched on half of those, I saw the highlights and it is true. Same thing when we were playing him.
