Which is why I said he'd be treated as an expiring next year. Not that he expires next year, but mid way through trade dead line he'd have one and a half seasons left. I could see him as a trade piece for another player, or a S&T with a true expiring contract.
Randolph has plus rebounding and an ability to finish at the rim, something the Rockets desperately need.
Here's a couple other trades that work... Zbo > Douglas, Aldrich, Patterson, Morris, Delfino Zbo > Douglas, Aldrich, Patterson, Morris, Jones I'm sure there's others.
yea i put this on here to let you guys know its not going to happen cause the money has to work per new CBA
Again.. HOOPSWORLD folks... HOOPSWORLD. We dont call its Poopsworld for nothing. Its basically BleacherReport, but instead of admitting that they are just glorified fans with 0% true inside reports, they lie about their connections, or just stick to generalizations that would be very believable regardless given the obvious nature of their statements. They will make statements like "Im hearing The Rockets are making phone calls aggressively to try and pry away that secondary star player." Then strategically put names in the same statement that have already been rumored to be on the trading block. Read Kennedy and Bill Ingram's twitter feed with rose colored lenses and you will hear what you want to hear to get your juices flowing... I guess that's sort of the point in what they do.
Knowing Daryl Morey, there's now way he would give up having max cap/salary room at his disposal this coming off-season or in 2014 to at least have a shot at acquiring free agent stars like CP3, Dwight etc. Doubt he considers having Randolph for the next 3 years as a franchise changing move.
I dont see why Memphis would trade him... He's probably their best player! I hope they are stupid enough to do it though!
sorry wrong info forgive me....we would only have to pay the rest of this year so 42 games have been played for Memphis so 8 million has been paid for already ....so we have to put up 8 million to get him or just throw two or three million to pay the rest of this year salary do not quote me on this but i think I'm right
Sign him up for 3 years and give this team 3 years to make a run. Best chance we've had since Yao's injury slide to retirement
no, that's not relevant. but the Rockets are 7+ mil under the cap. So you only have to send ~9 mil in salaries.
