i was just taking what i heard in other threads, the most popular one was started by clutch. he said that the most likely trade partners (if indeed we are looking) are the clipps and the heat. names that were being talked about were grant, jones, brand and miller. also - i would not want this trade to happen. trust me there is no wishfull thinking. i just wanted to see peoples opinions on this possibility.
I am with Jeff and Believe. Just because someone posted a possible trade on here, does not make it a legitimate rumor.
Wishful thinking aside, don't judge Dre by his numbers this year. Look at the team he's on. He's a point guard on a teamful of players out for themselves. Plus he lives in his home city (major distraction) and his stepfather just died (major distraction: very distressing for his mother, who also lives in LA, and himself). Plus going to the Clippers did not improve matters for him. If (BIG IF) we swapped Cat for Dre, I for one would be happy. And I think Dre could be kept for much less than the max. Not that the trade will happen, but just defending Dre a bit.
