Doesn't really mean anything if this is the first time this happens. Haven't you ever yelled at a friend? This doesn't at all signal that there is some kind of problem.

In fact, some are comfortable with yelling at one another all the time and still remain friendly. Look at the de Boer twins from the Dutch national team.

Francis was probably saying something like "Who are you guarding?" or "Be ready for that pass." There's also a possibility that Steve was commending Shandon for a good defensive play, or telling him to keep going for it.

Steve's trying to be the leader. Michael did the same thing for the Bulls.

I've never seen Shandon show much emotion on the court. He could have been dissapointed with himself for a somewhat bad game scoring wise (shot 3-10).

Him and Mo sure seemed to be on the same page.

    Shandon is underrated.

DJ, the link didn't work properly (at least for me). Here's the link again, in case it isn't working for anyone else.

I was wondering about this too, but not really concerned. My guess is that Francis is just trying to establish himself as a vocal leader...and if that's the case then it's a good thing.

http://boards.go.com/cgi/espn/request.dll?MESSAGE&room=nba_hou&id=17313. Did Francis really yelled at Shandon Anderson two times when Anderson tried to drive but fumbled the ball instead of taking a wide open three? The guy who wrote this also said Shandon wasn't happy at the way Francis yelled at him. I don't have the channels to watch the pre-season games so can any of you guys tell me Francis really yelled at Anderson. I thought that Anderson and Francis were good friends.
