The Basketball Jones podcast was talking about how the Lakers and Boston has a combined record of 37-40, and has 4 players starting in the all-star game. All-star voting is a freaking joke, hence why Jeremy Lin ALMOST got in over Chris Paul.

    host city

The host city has to have a representative. Harden is a better choice for the rockets fan because he is there leading scorer, but Lin has more votes online so the west coach scotty has a tough decision. But it has to be one or the other. My vote is that it will be Harden.

If he's not injured or if we are not on a consecutive losing streak before the announcement next week, it's 99%.

there is no tough decision here, the coaches do not have to factor in online votes to make their decision. Lin's only shot was being voted in

Game in Houston = Harden as a lock

If the game wasn't in Houston, it might be around 75% chance (very deserving, but somebody deserving always misses out), but it is 100% in Houston.

    I'd guess 98.9 percent chance.

100%. He, Duncan, and Westbrook are locks.

I am thinking Duncan will back out, he is getting old and needs some rest during the break.

The west needs Westbrook and Durant together to have a chance. But is it about winning? Without Westbrook and his speed etc then the East will win by 15.

It'll be a ******* travesty if he doesn't get voted in.

    Asik and Harden in

Harden is the hometown selection so he is a lock. Duncan gets asked to play and backs out which leaves Asik. Badabing, two rockets in the all star game.
