I hope you guys aren't thinking that picture posted was my uvula. I suppose I will go to the doctor however. I was thinking it just might be dry air causing my uvula to be like it is.
Damn, should have checked this earlier. In mid-December I got a virus that gave me an ulcer on my uvula. Sounds exactly like yours. Swelled up, could feel it in the back of my throat constantly, couldn't swallow, etc.. Finally went to the doctor. There's nothing they can do to speed it up, but they did give me a mixture of two things along with lydocaine (really strong medicine that is used to deaden the senses for surgery, etc.). Had to gargle with it every 2 hours but it worked great. I would go to the doc.
