Well... Amare did score against Lakers more than Yao did although Yao blocked Shaq's shots. I said Shaq is more concerned towards Amare based on what Shaq himself said about Amare. Shaq is praising Amare so high so as to say: "I see the future of NBA. And his name is Amare Stoudemire."
I rather have a hurting Shaq play and not do too well than him sitting out. Knowing our team we prabably better him in there, esle we will mistake the Shaqless Fakers as the Miami Heat twin and screw it up.
ha ha ha..true..if you want hype and excitement just replay the tape on the Yao vs Shaq Part I..or if you didn't tape it..ESPN reruns it at least once per week...they show it again this monday
EXACTLY!!!!!!! If Shaq plays Roxs win, if Shaq doesn't play Roxs lose, Why because the Roxs will say this: "Shaq isn't playing, cool then we don't have to try." Plus what is wrong with that toe of Shaqs? It has been screwed up for like 9yrs... I say this.Put collier and Boki in for a couple of plays and have them just step on Shaqs toe, nothing else.Don't shoot, pass, run, breath, just step on Shaqs toe as hard as you can and then maybe we can get that 8th spot...just a thought
Im not hatin on Yao im just saying a guy 7'5 blocking shots shouldnt be that big of a deal. he does it every game so you come to expect it. if moochie norris blocks shaq now you got a story
Shaq may say Amare is great and all, but everyone including Shaq knows that Shaq vs. Yao II will be the most watched and scrutinized game of the year (til part III). No one really cares when the Suns and Lakers play except hardcore fans and fans of those teams. The world will be watching Tuesday. Shaq wants to show the world that he's light-years ahead of Yao.
If Shaq doesn't play against the Rockets, then Yao must be ready for a to guard the lane. Kobe and the team will try to shoot over Yao. They will have to beat the Rockets from the outside. So, it's the guards jobs to keep presure on the outside shooters.
Please, Shaq doesn't regard Amare with higher respect, he just says that cuz Amare kisses his ass (remember what Amare said about Shaq). On top of that, big loudmouth doesn't want to give props to the guy that's gonna replace him as the top C.
I want Shaq to play Tuesday night for two reasons: 1) The Rockets are more likely to bring their "A" game. 2) Even though we go to PHX Wednesday, the Lakers go to Utah. A perfect scenario would be to beat the Lakers in a hard fought game and take enough out of them so that they lose to the Jazz on the next night.
