    I agree.

    Maybe Vince thinks the fans' vote <i>does</i> matter.
    Maybe Vince doesn't think the fans are as stupid as the media does.
    Maybe Vince really did have serious knee problems and wasn't faking it.
    Maybe Vince taking the doctor's advice - that he should not be playing - was the right thing to do.
    Maybe the Raptors play at the end of last season was more of a statement against the supporting players for acting like "spectators" when Vince <i>was</i> playing.
    Maybe Vince really does think attending his college graduation is an honor.

    I really don't understand it. The media would blow off everyone of those statements. The only other athlete I've seen given less of a break than Vince Carter is Barry Bonds and Kermit Washington. What's the problem? Is he not as forthcoming in interviews as they would like?
