I guess i'm a little disappointed because i expected someone else to die. No emotional connection to Pope's character.
No, not rooting for anyone. The way things were unfolding i really felt like Juice or Tig would have to go, if not them then another long time character. So, I guess I was preparing myself for another moving moment, like with Opie's death. However, Pope's death didn't really faze me. I guess it's a good thing though, since the others live and continue on the show.
Gemma is gonna have a bigger role next season. Otto has gotta be like the most whacked out character i have ever seen.
My wife got totally Netflix addicted to this show and just finished season 4 last night. Anyone have a link to season 5 episodes?
Wife and I just picked up watching this show and have really enjoyed it but it also really annoys me to no end sometimes at how r****ded these characters can be. Yes I know, some of the stupidity is needed to keep the drama and excitement going, but it still drives me nuts. Here are my thoughts on the 5 seasons i watched in a little over a week. Spoiler 1) Gemma needs to go. She is such a conniving b and everyone knows it, but keep giving her a pass, especially Jax. She always does stuff trying to protect her family and it rarely ever helps. And really Tara? You are going to try to go at Gemma and can't take a punch to the gut. Tara flip flops from street girl/old lady, to pus all the time. Anyone else think it was Gemma that ratted out Tara? She threatened her with it...so who else could it be? Possibly the Irish I suppose. Someone other than the US marshal?? 2) Lie and hide the truth is the recurring theme that at least half the time is unnecessary. Everyone seems to think the best way of helping out the people they love is to lie and not tell them the truth... 3) Opie.... I guess not a bad thing, I understand it, but like others was our favorite character. 4) Juice - like his character, but damn dude, you shoulda just manned up a long time ago. These are your "brothers", I doubt they would have cared that his dad was black, rule or no rule. 5) Yes, someone said the prospect/new patches are not introduced well. I agree and have no real care for the newer cast so far. 6) Yes MORE HAPPY. 7) Too many, I love you then the next episode, I will kill you moments. 8) Nero is a great character, too bad his world has been turned upside down since meeting Gemma. I don't know why he didn't kick her out a long time ago. Him getting pulled back into the street life was fun and sad to watch. He is like Jax and trying to get out but keeps getting pulled back in. Hopefully their new legit business can survive 9) SAMCRO needs to do something for Otto. That dude has done way too much for the club for absolutely nothing in return. Poor guy... 10) Interesting to watch Jax's transformation. He is making smart moves, but man is getting savage. I don't understand why or how Bobby can expect Jax to just let Clay go. As much as he has done to hurt the MC, he can't just walk. They have killed others for a lot less. What is Bobby's future now that he has given up VP? 11) I wonder what will happen with Clay. They have been setting up the formation of his own crew, but how will that happen with him locked up and with a bounty out on him? Maybe the IRA helps him out and something happens b/w Tig and the MC to get him to join him. 12) I can see a better relationship forming between the MC and Roosevelt. I could go on and on, but I think that is enough. Now we have to wait for season 6....
