http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/13/world/asia/india-new-gang-rape/ New Delhi, India (CNN) -- In an incident eerily similar to a sexual assault that sent shock waves worldwide, Indian police say a woman was gang-raped over the weekend by seven men after she boarded a bus at night. Police arrested six suspects, including the bus driver, after the alleged Friday night attack in Gurdaspur district in Punjab. WTF??
I will be very surprised if their Chief of Police Department and their Minister of Justice are not sacked after this.
Yes, absolutely... if you ban guns that means no more gangs and no more gangs means no more gang rape.
Would it be best to just hitch a train??? I'm not sure how the public transportation works in India but damn/ buses are starting to become a dangerous territory for women..
Not that there's ever a right time to conduct a gang-rape, but seriously? Just a few weeks after the incident that sparked riots across the country? The same incident that will likely (hopefully) harshen the penalties for violators? The same incident that will likely (hopefully) change the Indian cultural perception around atrocities like rape? The same incident that received world-wide attention? Have these guys been living under a rock for the past month? These guys (if found guilty) have to go down as some of the dumbest criminals in recent memory.
