To those of you who either have experience with crossfit or working-out in general. What do you think of this? A center has recently opened up in my town and they have got me curious.
I dont like crossfit, but i like this video. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uO_jfEk-adw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Dude, she's probably younger than you and im pretty sure she could kick your ass and probably weighs more than you, no offense.
Why exactly do you find those admirable qualities in a girl? Fyi, broad shoulders and narrow hips on a stumpy body are not feminine features. Femininity is also about balance - and when you see a little chihuaha going "hard" in the gym it's another sign of gender confusion and most likely a case of estrogen shortage. To each his own, but why not date your spot partner if that's what you're looking for?
i'll one up that chick video above with this one: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Uq_iiDsC-nA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> as far as crossfit... been doin it about a year. it's fun and great workout. there are drawbacks like the cost and if you want to get huge muscles it can be difficult. but as far as overall fitness (strength + endurance) its great. like other things some people go overboard with the whole culture of it and i just kind of laugh at their ridiculousness of it but w/e.
The thing I've noticed in people that do it for weight loss is that they don't lose anything. If anything, I think it might trick people into thinking they can eat and drink however they want and go to Crossfit to work it off. Instead, they end up with bigger arms, shoulders, and legs...with a beer gut.
She's in fantastic shape.....but they are exaggerating a little bit with the video title. Either that or american males have REALLY let themselves go.
OP. Crossfit is great but it takes work and dedication. You can get into the best shape of your life and develop some amazing functional strength if you learn proper form and take it seriously. Most posters on cf.net play video games, drink sodas, eat fast food and try to make cool/witty jokes in these types of threads.... You know the type. Losers. Don't listen to them and go somewhere where real go getters hang out if you want to better yourself and learn something like crossfit or any type of self improvement for that matter.
