If you could know for a fact that Dream was going to play in Vancouver next year, would you trade him there just for somekind of gain? ------------------ Thomas Hamilton For THREE!!!!!!
Great . ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. With the pieces they already have in place and myself, we can do some amazing things next season." Maurice Taylor
No way. To trade him, we would have to sign him first. Your scenario would never happen. ------------------ What a slam dunk!!
No, No, No if Hakeem wants to be a free agent and sign with someone else then that is his doing. [but I don't believe it] If we was to trade him then we have lost the one thing that has allowed us to sign free agents for less then they can make somewhere else the last two years. Players seem to believe in the Rocket managment and in Rudy. It would take a fool to destroy that after the years it takes to build it up. ------------------
I have a question: When the bulls signed Pip and preceded to trade him to us how come we did not have to match the 66 mill that Pip was going to be paid ? ... is that under the old rules ? ------------------ Life moves pretty fast, If you don't stop and look once in a while you might miss it!! ... We renounced our rights to all of our free agents to get under the cap. Teams under the cap can take on any salary they want till they go over the cap. ------------------ Save our children from the TAAS test: TAAS test report card TAAS test fact sheet
Exactly what Behad said. As for the proposed trade...hmmmmmm...I would take any trade into consideration, but Vancouver really doesn't have anything to offer us that they would ACTUALLY trade. It would have to be a 3 or 4 team trade and I just don't see something of that magnitude happening. Personally, I want Dream to retire as a Rocket, unless an "offer we can't refuse" comes across the table. ------------------ Too often, we lose sight of life's simple pleasures.
