Eh I'm not even mad. Games like this is going to happen, specially on a back to back with tired legs. Hopefully they bounce back against boston.

I've been a long time lurker and the amount of trolls that has infested the Garm is really making this place less enjoyable. The obvious option is to just use the ignore function but maybe its time for clutch and the moderators to be a bit more active around here.

I'm just going to wish this team a safe flight to Boston, hope they get some rest and play hard on Friday.

The team apparently had a flight from hell last night - 3.5 hours of nothing but turbulence, and then going against a recently hot team on their homecourt, with Mason getting freaky streaky at the end. Not to mention the ugliest officiating possible.

So this loss ain't so bad. Just need to keep heads up high and play hard next game. This team deserves more support than the whiners are showing here. They earned it.

They really shut down the paint and turned us over like we were a bunch of Boys' Town boom-boom girls. If our 3s aren't raining... Brutal game. I'm going to try to forget it.

Because they need someone to blame. Lin is always the scapegoat for all past amnd future losses. Never mind that the other players played just as bad.

I admit to being a Lin fan, but that really was a ridiculously officiated game. One play he got rode all the way on a drive and got bumped on the layup with no call. Like that all night. Donaghy reffing again?

agreed. pretty stubborn if you ask me. Sitting Asik the entire 4th (in this game) was crazy when nothing was going down. I mean the pick and roll broke down, they got no rebounds, no second chances etc. Just terrible

    Spiegel with another positive post.

If this team does not excite you with its potential, you are not a Rocket fan.

It doesn't take 3.5 hours to fly from Houston to New Orleans

As much as I like Lin, I think he needs to be more aggressive and consistent. Like Harden mentioned in his last game interview, if Lin is aggressive it will open up for everybody. Hope he gets better.

This was one of the worst games for the Rockets in awhile. Multiple off-shooting nights for:

    Parsons, 5-17 FG 29% (2-7 3PT)
    Lin, 5-16 31% (1-4 3PT)
    Patterson, 3-10 30% (0-2 3PT)
    Delfino, 5-16 31% (0-2 3PT)

    Too many turnovers:

    Harden, 7 TO
    Lin, 5 TO
    Parsons, 4 TO
Morris, 2 TO (in 20 mints of PT)

Though to be fair, some of those TOs were stupid calls by the refs. This was also one of the worst officiating nights of the year. Not just inconsistent calls, but just wrong calls as well.

    More TO fun:

-Lin has 46 in the last 10 games.

-Harden has 35 in the past 10.

-The rest of the team has 89 in the past 10 games.

-For those that want to rag on Lin, Harden is actually leading the team in TOs with 120. Lin is second with 110. Asik is 3rd with a distant 78.

-In the last 3 Rocket losses, they had 21+ TOs. (22 vs Hornets, 21 vs Thunder, 24 vs Spurs)

    Other observations:

-Sometime Lin passes when he should shoot and sometimes he shoots when he should pass. It's leading to a lot of TOs.

-Parsons has been very streaky lately. Wonder if fatigue is setting in for him or if the shoulder injury is catching up. (Last 5 games: 10-15 vs Lakers, 3-14 vs Cavs, 2-13 vs Bucks, 5-11 vs Hornets, 2-10 vs Hawks)

-Delfino can win you games and he can lose you games with his 3s. In fact, if you look at his GameScore logs, he only contributes to wins when he's shooting 4 or more 3s per game.

-Tonight could of used more Greg Smith and more Toney. But Smith had 2 fouls in 6 mins which makes me understand why McHale sat him out a lot. Dude really needs to work on that asap. Don't know why Toney got so little time with the cold Delfino.

-Asik only had 8 rebounds in 26 mins of play. He was basically a non-factor for the past 3 games including tonight's game. (8/8 tonight, 2/5 vs Lakers, 4/6 vs Cavs)

With all that said, this team is still over performing, given everything that has going on and how young they are. You take the lows with the highs and tonight was a low. The team will move on. You should too.

Hard to be aggressive when the opposing team is allowed to be ultra physical without a foul call. Harden got stripped with ridiculous amounts of contact at least 3 times while driving into the lane.

And they were calling fouls on Smith and Morris like they were passing out candy on Halloween.

I knew that would be the excuse and I was waiting for this post.

You're only looking at one side, because hindsight is 20/20. The Rockets were 8-2 in their last 10 games coming off a win against the Lakers.

If you want to play that Eric Gordon is back game then why was the over/under only 101? Everyone would pick the over knowing the Rockets average 106 ppg and the teams they play against average 103 ppg. The last 10 games the Rockets and their opponents average 111 points including the game against the Hornets. The Rockets have been on fire and the Hornets are still a team that is 9-25. You yourself said the officiating was bad.

If you would like me to predict every win, loss, and spread the day before each game, please let me know. I will also let you know my system for picking 90% of the games correctly.

Delfino should not be allowed to drive to the basket and create contact because it seems to burn his energy and messed up his shooting rhyme, that's why he keep missing them.

Parson should be replaced w/ a better player next year...dude sucks at dribbling and driving...i am not confident in his ability to drive and score. And his shooting has been inconsistent lately.

Lin, again he failed me in those open shots....keep missing them. I guess he's not a good shooter after all.

Osik, although good for interior defense....if we can't get someone like Howard next year, we need to address the PF position....JOSH SMITH upgrade will probably be good since he can spread the floor and rebound, block shots and player interior defense.

Tough lost, especially with the double digit lead. This team needs to play d and close games. Harden was the usual consistent self, but the rest of the team sucked donkey balls. Lin and Asik don't have the motor like Harden. Lin doesn't have a motor and Asik looks like he's hit the wall.

I wouldn't mind having Vasquez in a Rockets uniform.
