absolutely agree. francis does not bring his A game all the time.

 

Remember the Kidd/Marbury trade?

Kidd made the Nets contenders. Marbury made his team suck.

Now, Marbury "gets it." He's turned the corner.

Francis has NOT.

 

marbury will NEVER "get it." the guy wants to be a superstar too much. because of his egoistical type of personality, he won't pass the ball and shoot to post of big numbers, foolisly thinking big numbers = respect from players, fans, media. if he doesn't share the ball, he has ZERO chance of winning anything. he's not even one the top 20 players in the league.

 

I think you need to check his stats vs Francis.

And his teams improvement. Amare has helped. But it's still Marbury's team.
