Probably a redundant question. Will the game be blacked out on NBA tv tonight?

If you live in the Houston area, yes, it will be blacked out. NBATV games are blacked out in the area of the teams playing, but ESPN/ABC/TNT games are nationally televised and are not blacked out.

Adjust title to say Kobe vs. Rockets. With Pau and Dwight out, it will be a throwback Kobe game.

Yeppers. All those without Comcast will have to watch crappy ass streams. Oh well.

They re-air it again at 2 am...that's not blacked out too, is it? Thought they did it with the Lin in NY game earlier this year and it wasn't blacked out.

I set the DVR just in case.

I set my DVR as well - the tape-delayed versions are apparently not blacked out.

If I can just dvr the delayed game, then that is fine, otherwise, torrent time again - which frankly is not a bad option since whoever uploads them is kind enough to remove all the commercials.

Most likely it will be black out if you're watching it in Houston...

Every NBATV game so far this season hasn't been blacked out for me for some reason. I live in the Katy area so fingers are crossed this one isn't either.

HD Streams are everywhere? Doubt that. Can't find one, except the one's in 240p. LOL.

I really hate the fact that this happens. Sometimes I like to hear the other broadcasters talk. I can't even watch the halftime reports either. Irritates me.

The replay at 2am won't be blacked out. I have recorded and watched two or three games this year that replayed at 2am.

even though i'm from Houston, i'm generally happy that i don't live there anymore. But when i think about the comcast saga:

I finally watched the tape delayed replay just two nights ago of Lin's homecoming game in NYC. I waited a while so I didn't really recall the outcome even though I had thought we won.

Will DVR this one as well & save it for later.
