Kobe: (It's) Fine for us to boil over a little bit, get chippy. And Dwight aggravated his shoulder injury. MRI tomorrow.
Dwight: Gotta stay together. Play with sense of urgency. Can't let tough times make us fold or point fingers. We're gonna stay together. We're in a tough stretch. Gotta stay together. We can't point fingers. ... We gotta stay positive and keep our heads. Seems everything is against us. We gotta stay together. Easier said than done but we gotta find a way to stay together. Hopefully things turn around for us.
This Lakers debacle is quite entertaining to say the least........I wonder what kupchak will do. I don't see him letting this nonsense continue for much longer.
If Dantoni expects Steve Nash to stop a PG from scoring he really is an awful coach. That comes down to team defense. Something that you should practice religiously (i.e. more than 30 minutes) so that it is instinctive in games. A_3PO, you're joking, right? With Nash, Kobe, and Pau, the Lakers have a massive amount of offensive talent. The problem is some of their best players aren't run & gun (and Pick and roll) players. Pau, Kobe, and World Peace are physical half court players that don't fit with what Dantoni likes to do but they are effective offensive players. And, the Lakers are actually the 6th best offense in the league...they score enough. The dilemma is that the Dantoni offense won't allow a team to be a great defense (which they should be with Dwight and Pau up front) and having more post up guys than spot shooters keeps them from being #1 in offense (which they should be in Dantoni's system).

enjoying the implosion. Part that I am pre annoying myself for is when they trade meeks, the ghost of luke walton, and steve blake for some all star savior. and somehow it works then joey crawford steps in to give them a hundred free throws a game. I wouldnt be surprised if kobe take a mallet to the knee so he can later say 'I wasnt there'
Nash: We gotta set our standards higher and hold teams to 25 pt Qs or less. ... We played hard tonight. A lot of good moments defensively but moments we're late. We're not the fastest team but we're big. We gotta put teams at a disadvantage. ... There's gonna be turnovers. Not gonna go crazy over them. ... We just gotta win a game. Feels like our confidence is down a little bit. We can't get a break or find a way to win a close game. We gotta stick together and keep fighting. ... It would be nice to play smarter but it's not awful there. It's a combination of everything. Frustrating. I think we are getting better but nothing to show for it.
