A few things I find myself saying quite often when I'm at games are:

Uh-oh it's been 2 minutes and Mobley is yet to take a shot, here comes a wasted posession.

We're only up by 6 with 2 minutes left, it's over, it was nice winning while it lasted!

Yao is wide open! So is the camera man, he better look out!

The first 2 seem to happen almost every game, Mobley hasn't take a shot for a while so he gets the ball and jacks up a terrible shot. Or, we're winning and, like we always do, in the fourth quarter we either give them a chance to win (like being up by 10 with a minute left, to them coming within 3), or simply losing the game all together. It's too bad our staff isn't smart enough to fix any of these things, and I'm sure there are ways to do so.

well stated. i'm a half-season ticket holder and have gone to my share of games this year... last one being, tuesday night vs the jazz. i thought for sure we had tuesday nights game in the bag.

oh wait, i am talking about the rockets here :)

atleast they pulled off a miraculous win tonight!! i have yet to give up on them... just wish they'd stay focused and not get ahead of themselves as often as they do

i'll be there friday night vs miami, lets see what damage the rockets can pull off there... anothe 30+ victory would be great to witness live in houston!!

If they win against the Heat as they should, the match on Tuesday against the Lakers could very well be a true must win game for the Rockets. If they beat the Heat, it'll be a must win game for the Rockets/Lakers game because that'll either keep the Rockets at the 8 seed, or it will drop us out of a play off spot. Maybe it won't be a must win, but it'll definitely be one of the more important ones this season. It'll be in LA though, which will prove increasingly tough. I almost wish the Rockets would lose to the Heat, or the Lakers would lose to whoever they face before the Tuesday game, so there wouldn't be as much pressure on the Rockets to win.

    the Rockets are so predictable?

They're UNpredictable to me... never knowing if they're going to win or lose, or win by 30 or lose by 30... or if we're up by 6 with 2 minutes left and end up losing or being down by 3 against LA on 1/17 and then Stevie hitting a cold-hearted 3 to tie it up to send it into OT to come out of it with the W.

Sounds hard to predict to me.

What I meant was that it always seems like those happen. We're winning late in the 4th and the other team makes it a nail biter, even though we were up double digits 3 minutes earlier. And Cuttino....we all know about him, he HAS to shoot. He thinks he's "all that" and does everything he can to show it, whether it's taking a very difficult shot or trying to drive through 3 defenders. It doesn't matter who is open and how open they are, it always seems like he jacks up a bad shot if he hasn't shot in the last 5-6 posessions. The last one was directed to our sloppy play. I find myself saying throw it to (insert name here) he's wide open, only to see Steve, Cuttino, or someone else make a bonehead play or take a difficult shot. We all know they can't see everyone all the time, but when you have a guy wide open down low you shouldn't miss that. Especially when it's someone as big as Yao. No team is perfect, but most are average, I'm still waiting to see us on that plateau.

well it's good to see you brought so many ideas to the table as to how you would fix it. perhaps that is what rudy tells them.

guys, guys stop losing those leads and hit the open man.

    well how, coach.

well i'm sure there are ways to do so.

    ok coach.

that's the problem with the rockets, we don't know if they wil win from a bad team, losing from a play offs team, can happen. houston also wins from team they should lose. Houston is verry inconsistent.therefor onpredictable. but i believe we wil make the play offs. :D :D

    You da man...

this is so true its scary...

I can't believe there is no adjust made. Let CAT work into the game not let him heave up some desperation shot to tie the game..

What the hell are they thinkin'...
