Yes the dude cheated and yes his reputations deserves to be tarnished tremendously....

But only slightly worse than Hitler and Sandusky?

OP....you are delusional saying stuff like that...

Lance Armstrong defenders should be ashamed of themselves. For shame.

    IBTL,

Did Lance sleep with your wife or something? Or maybe he stole your bike?

Look, the man rode a bike for a living and took some drugs while doing it. What's the big deal???

yeah i know he doesn't really mean it, but it is offensive considering millions of people died in ww2 because of one man.

I ain't even mad at Lance.

he's done good for cancer research and cancer has had a much stronger impact on my life than professional cycling.

If the worst thing he did was cheat to win a bicycle race while indirectly raising millions of dollars for cancer research, then I really don't give a squat. As for his personal financial benefit, well that is a whole other story which will be worked out naturally from lost endorsements, legal expenses, etc for the rest of his life.

all the top cyclists were doping.

might as well through roger clemens out there too. i guess we'll never know but i bet the majority of baseball players, especially the elite, were juicing.

Armstrong is not even in the same breath of terrible as Hitler or Sandusky. Several order of magnitudes lower. You need some perspective, I think.

Not really sure why Lance Armstrong was ever a big deal. He is a bike rider.

The only reason American's ever gave a damn because we beat some Frenchies at their favorite puss sport.

OMG this to the millionth power...

Who cares? It's cycling for Christ sake, at least some good came out of his cheating, unlike the baseballers who completely skewed the record books and reeped all the rewards; fame, fortune, glory.

Hitler and Lance, I can see the comparison!

It's freaking bicycle racing, a tainted sport to begin with! He still did well by getting donations in for research. He is like robin hood, with brighter and tighter tights!
He also gave that speech to peter lafleur. average joe's don't win the tournie without that speech.
