yao needs to change his soft attitude more than he needs to bulk up. that will take time to change along with the way his body changes too in the next few years. maybe we can just feed him some steroids to kill two birds with one stone and speed the whole thing up for the impatient rockets fans.

I think Yao should go back to Shanghai for a few months and just enjoy life and relax before be heads into any sort of intensive work schedule. He often mentions that he misses home ("the atmosphere" as he says) and after visiting Shanghai several times in the last few years, I can understand why. It is an amazing city - sort of a combination of New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo with an incredible skyline and a beautiful waterfront. Very cosmopolitan and modern yet retaining a lot of the traditional. However, I think Yao is the type of person who would start getting restless after a few weeks of rest and it would be great if the Rockets could get a strength or conditioning coach to work with him at home during the summer.

Yao is ok. The most important thing for him is the experience in NBA. Size is nice for holding position or pushing others, but it slows you down. Stamina will come with playing the long NBA season. And it is hard not to get an atitude playing in NBA. I would like Yao evolve into a bigger, more dominating Duncan. In two years, he will be there.

I think it doesnt matter what I think. Yao should do whatever he wants. nah screw it, do him like Ivan Drago. shoot him up with steroids, monitor his every muscle movement with elctros and machines and turn him into a machine who will "break you". just kidding Yao, if your reading this, feliz navida, happy chinese new year, and do what you want, its your life. your nobodys fantasy sport slave.
