LOL. Now all he's left to do is sucking up to Harden by praising strippers, so both guards will pass him the ball.

let's hope he can actually play, would seem rather unreasonable to sign a guy for the rest of the year and letting go of Cook this early, rather than let's say a 10 day contract later one.

I am assuming that it is a three-year deal (as reported), at the league minimum salary, with only this season's salary guaranteed (i.e., the second and third years are non-guaranteed). However, part of the holdup before may have been Anderson fighting for some partial guarantee in Year 2. I have no clue how that was resolved but doubt it would be much, if anything.

If my calculations are correct, based on a fully-guaranteed prorated league minimum salary for Anderson, his cap hit for this season should be $532,737.

Nothing about his salary I am noticing.

I wonder if Morey tied up a younger player with skills at the minimum salary with some cap friendly options. If we get a second star we have to some how fill out the roster and this might be a roster fill out type move. So more of a move towards the future rather than the current. Anderson will not win us the title this year... in year three he might be a role player that can make a difference.

We have made ourselves younger team (again).

Let's hope that Anderson has something to offer for the team.

So what's his upside? I'm not really expecting anything more than Von Wafer.

Can he defend PGs so we can put him out there with Harden?

I noticed during the game last night that they kept showing Anderson on the screen. Everyone( Bill, Clyde ) seemed happy about the signing.

James Anderson is coachable, and can play defense, Wafer was neither.
