Isn't it just what you want? I consider myself a true Rockets fan, but I am getting fed up with these disguised Rockets only fans. I suspect they are just Lin haters. You may choose to continue posting in this forum when your favorite player go to another team, but please respect other fans' right to follow their favorite player(s). Fans following their favorite players is a fact that happens to all players and all teams. Just live with it and you will be happier.
I wouldn't be surprised. If you do a search on twitter for @jlin7 and the word vote together, you see a lot of fangirls .
LMAO on the poll results ,I call BS AND a recount but this time only clutch fan members only lol I voted Harden ,he needs the votes lol
For those vets or posters who really can't withstand this pool, leave it alone. Cause that's no way you can win both physically(on the internet) or mentally(see below). Why differentiate people? People vote Lin doesn't mean they don't like others, people vote Harden still means they possibly love Lin too and vice versa. The only thing behind this is the expectation. You want the best player got the most votes because you are neutral from the beginning, and the best player wins your heart with 30 games, thats absolutely right. For those who voted Lin, I dare say, 95% of them are not based on these 30 games or even the games themselves. Why hate? Just leave it. We all share the same love for the same team, some love Lin more, some love Harden more, still brothers and sisters, my friend.
Do people really think it's impossible for someone to be a Rockets fan and also have Lin as their favorite player? I don't know why everyone accuses someone who has Lin as their favorite player as being Asian or a LOF. How about they just like Lin the most among all the Rockets? Or is that not possible?
Toney douglas is my new favorite. Every time he gets the ball either something amazing happens or something disastrous happens. Either way I'm entertained
C'mon guys, it says favorite player not best player. Heck if Brian Scalabrine was with the Rockets, I'd vote for him. But since he's not, then I voted for the great underdog story that is Jeremy Lin.
Because Harden is an extremely likable player and a fking superstar, there is no way that the gap between Lin and Harden would be this big if not for Asians and LOFs.
So? Unhappy? They are all playing for Houston, everybody who want success of a particular player most likely meaning support for the team. Didn't many of Yao's fans want Rockets get into the finals and get a ring for himself and the TEAM too? Just like those Asians and LOF (if it's true), they still support the team like everybody else. Should they be differentiated to be a different group? Are they real rockets fans? It's ironic to say, some people want one of rockets' player fail just to prove they are right and get rid of the new members and so as their pride. Come on, Rockets success isn't all we hope for? Rockets get more fan base like Christianity, Asians, LOF, people who like underdogs, no good? Or is it just something somebody who can't live with the fact the world isn't running the way he wants it to be and would be pissed? Go make a difference or swallow it. Thats life.
