Walt was apparently interviewed earlier this afternoon (like 5 hours ago, hehe). He said some VERY interesting things.

His first comment was last year he came in with a bad attitude. He didn't want to come, and was handed the starting job so his attitude didn't change.

He talked about he was disrespectful to Rudy and all the coaches last year.

He said he never slumped last year, because he only took 4 and 5 shots a game.

He wasn't happy until the end. He started being more assertive and got more shots coming his way, which is why he ended with a bang.

He is looking forward to this year, and says he's being a man and respecting his team and staff.

Wow, I didn't realize how unhappy Walt was most of last season. I thought he just didn't care. He apparently lost focus and is now rededicating. What's the world coming to, I complimented KT, and now have a greater respect for Walt? Who else can I bash? [IMG]

    Surprising, to say the least.

Well, what can i say? Though i could care less for his attitude, which could almost be labeled unprofessional, at least he has to take some credit for keeping his dislike of the situation private, and not voicing it like a whining baby (guess who).

While i hope what he said is true, it's all a bit too easy for me. "Sure i slumped, i didn't want to be here."

Let's hope he can keep the intensity he showed in the last few weeks of the season and erases all my doubts.

I'll hold my judgment until then.

Do you think he should give some of his money back from last year? After all, he didn't earn it until the end of the season.

Personally, I respect the guy for having the cojones to stand up and basically say, "I was wrong"

It takes a man to do that. We shouldn't judge him for taking responsibility for his actions. We should commend him.

Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, but it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and pimp-slap the mother****** upside the head!

    BobFinn*,

    Yes.

He just admitted that he didn't try to "earn" his money in the beginning of the year. That's like Minnesota admitting they made an illegal side deal with Joe Smith, dumb.

I respect him for being a professinal, and I really don't hate him that much, but I still think he's overpaid.

    Interesting to say the least
I don't understand his attitude though
I WANNA STAY IN PORTLAND AND BE A 5TH Stringer
Rather than be in houston and start

As a Player I'd rather play every night
than Be Chuck Nevit with a championship
    [I guess it was economic]
