So what would it have looked like instead if it was accidental?

JR Smith is one of the biggest punks in the league.

I remember he killed someone from DUI similar to Josh Brent from the Cowboys and then a few years or months later, he ended up getting arrested again for the same act.

This guy is just a flat out bonehead thug and was one of the Knicks that wanted Lin out due to jealously of his publicity and money.

Is it possible to sue other players? If so, JR Smith deserves to be sued (at the very least).

Are you blind? Or are you a big JR fan? Look at JR's hand and arm and his running movement. He is NOT trying to defend, his body movement is not in any way even similar to trying to defend. He is putting his arms down below to sneakily push Dragic. It's flat out intentionally trying to knock down Dragic.

Plus, when it comes to JR who has repeatedly behaved thuggish on the court and off the court, you don't give him a benefit of doubt. It's common sense.

    Nope, he's right.

You must be one of those scrubs that can't play D so goes off on a fouling rampage, not to mention smells like ass on the court.

Even if it looks accidental, JR Smith knew better than that. But he undercut Dragic simply because he's a dirty player and a terrible human being. JR has a reputation for these types of dirty play and he doesn't care whether or not he injures another player.

His action alone when Lin got a nice contract from Houston says it all. He was jealous and went public about it saying that if Lin comes back to the Knicks, there will be some locker room issues... I mean, who the hell would hate on their teammate for how much money they make?

JR would have done the exact same thing if he was in Lin's shoes but the only difference is, no one really wants him despite how much of a spark he is out of the bench. That's why the Knicks were able to sign him for so cheap. Because he's a dirty player that takes cheap shots at others.

That should've been an ejection based on his reaction after the play. If a guy knows he's done something like that and goes to see how the injured player is doing, that's the least a player should always do. It's unsportsmanlike to just act like nothing happened and it shouldn't even matter if you hit him or not, he's obviously in pain. I can understand it if you feel like someone flopped on you but in this case Dragic would've done himself a major disservice if he would've tried that.

    No and no.

I know he's not trying to defend. The question is did he intentionally run into Dragic or was the contact inadvertent (i.e. his momentum was carrying him in that direction and he misjudged the trajectory of the two bodies in motion).

I don't like J.R Smith. But I know he tends to make very questionable decisions which may be due to him being a bonehead rather than him looking to hurt someone, and not thinking to just stop in his tracks to avoid a possible collision with a player who's in the air would qualify.

"Dragic left Wednesday's game with a bruised left hip, wrist and back and did not return, Arizona Sports 620 reports."

JR did indeed injure Goran Dragic by undercutting him.

Whether it was intentional or not, JR should have been put on his ass on the following play for that.
