Ted (Unrated Version) - 2 out of 10.

What a waste of $5 on uVerse. A couple of funny moments at the beginning and then it all went down hill fast. Thought it would be funny....haven't been more wrong in a while! Skip this one folks!!

Saints and Soldiers Airborne Creed -1 out of 10

Movie has zero plot.Just 3 paratroopers, and hey they run into a couple of small groups of German soldiers....Most ridiculous part was when these 3 guys, who are lost in enemy territory, decide to have an impromptu contest of marksmanship

It was a movie with a talking stuffed animal, how high could your expectations really have been ? I thought it was about as funny as Family Guy .

Savages - 5/10. Probably being generous. Not very well written and as someone else mentioned, the ending was pretty bad.

South of the Border - 8/10. Pretty good documentary about Hugo Chavez.

    Pulp Fiction - 9.5/10

I've watched this movie about 30 times and I just watched it again the other day. Just an absolute classic.

    This is 40 - 4/10

Really was expecting more, because I usually love Judd Apatow, but DAMN this was boring as hell.

Acting was very good, and there were some funny parts here and there, but literally zero plot and was WAY too long (About 2 hours 15 minutes).

    Enter the Dragon

First time seeing this...awesome film and interesting to see how it influenced movies to come. 8/10

And as a side note, all these war movies being mentioned and no one says Glory?! That is easily among the best war movies ever made...top 5 imo.

Just watched the newest Resident Evil.

It's less like a standard movie and more like a video game. The movie is based around levels and bosses.

I liked it, wife didn't. I like video games and cheesy sci fi movies, she doesnt. I'd give it a 6.5/10... but if you don't like video games or it doesn't sound appealing to you, dont get it.

Also watched Taken 2. It got pretty poor reviews at the theatres, but I think people were expecting more... I didn't. I figured it was going to be more or less a continuation from the first, with some action and chase scenes. I'd give it a 5/10, but felt it was worth the $1 at redbox. I would have been disappointed if I saw it in the theater for $25 between my wife and I.

Oh, nvm, I downloaded Taken2, so it was free.

    Django Unchained - 9/10

Classic Tarentino. DiCaprio deserves an Oscar for his performance.

The Words (don't ask). 4/10. Wasn't terrible, per se, but it just seemed to lack flow.

Dredd 3D was pretty good. A shoot 'em throwback. The CGI was done right, ie blood, gore, and buildings that don't look obviously CGI as they were done right.

    Lucky Number Slevin - 7/10

I watched this for the first time a couple days ago, it was pretty good, Lucy Lui was hot in this movie. I love asians but for some reason don't dig her as much in particular.

Anyway, story line was pretty cool, kinda f'd up how he lost his people but payback was a mutha for The Boss and The Rabi.

    Silver Linings Playbook - 7.5

This rating is holiday influenced. This movie is just really feel good and stuff. Unfortunately the ending is pretty predictable but I really enjoy these feel good movies at the holidays. Pretty good acting all around.

Funny People and This is 40 have just been terrible misfires from Apatow.

This is 40 was mostly just arguing for about an hour and a half of runtime with the funny parts spread throughout.

Either you saw it at the dollar cinemas or torrent, it should be called, Dredd because in order to watch it in 3D, you have to have seen it in a 3D setting, right?? The bluray/dvd doesn't come out in 2 wks so I assumed you saw it through torrent or maybe you have a 3D tv??

I gave it a slightly higher rating... Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde pushed it into a 7 for me (unfortunately, a very creepy Dennis Quaid lechy performance dropped it back down to a 6).

Dark Knight Rises - 6 out of 10. Moved very slowly and seemed very long. Some very good action scenes and cool vehicles but the Bane (Tom Hardy) role was very hard to follow because of the mask garbled so much of his dialog and I was really disappointed in the Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) role and performance. Anne Hathaway looked nice throughout, but hard to believe her in her role... just not physically up to the task (now... Angelina Jolie or the girl from Hunger Games... hmmm). Every scene that Mathew Modine was in was a bad scene. Weird brief bit role by the Scarecrow as a "judge."
