For decent quality and good value and "today's fashion" try the Express store. Granted, it's no Hugo Boss or what not, but it is pretty good in terms of value. Sometimes they even have them 50% off during seasonal clearances.

I've bought a couple suits from Suit mart which were really a good deal and the last suit i got was from Macy's. Got a Ralph Lauren suit for like 250 bucks after all their promos and sales. Macy's will tend to have these pre sales and things like that. If you are in a hurry i have had good luck with suit mart.

I seriously don't recommend going to a baller store unless you know what you're buying. In another city, I bought suits from a baller store. When my suits came back from alterations, I received a call from a discount store for pick up. When I asked the discount store why my suits when there instead of the baller store, the guy said the baller store doesn't carry these suits so it probably confused the alterations store. He said the baller store takes suits from the discount store and marks them up...MOTHERF...I basically bought a cheap suit.

I wouldn't put much weight into where you are buying a suit. I have seen plenty of people buy very expensive suits that are totally out of style and look pretty cheap, and I have seen people buy some retro styled suits from a thrift type store, that looks like a $1500 suit from E. Zegna that can be seen on the pages of GQ.

Its about style and material more than price, imo.

I always buy my suits from Jos. A. Bank. I've tried lots of places, but over the years, I've found that for suits Jos A Bank just works best for me, for price, style, quality and convenience (there's one in the neighborhood).

One of the Brooks Brothers lower end lines, one of the Jos A Bank signature gold suits are your best bet. If you want the best quality for the lowest price, I suggest getting a made-to-measure suit by Hickey Freeman. You can get a suit with nice fabric, good construction details (half-canvassed) starting at about 900. It'll probably take a month and a half if you go this route. If you want even better quality, but still a relatively good price, try Samuelsohn made-to-measure.

Future interviews and work (hopefully). I've been hearing Suit Mart has some nice suits for a good price. That's going to be my first stop. Another is Macy's during their usual 20% off friends and family coupon.

IMO best suit for you dollar is Burberry made by Hickey Freeman, you can get a custom made Hickey Freeman for around a thousand there.. Also, I got a call from Burberry the other day that they will be having HF reps there one weekend this month or next and they expect to have some suits on sale while the reps are there..

I like Off Saks Fifth. You get the designer suit at a reasonable price. you can even try neiman marcus outlet. Katy Mills has it.

Has anyone bought from houseofbespoke.com? There's a groupon for $300 for 1 custom suit plus a $40 alteration credit and $100 credit on your next suit. Just want to get some feedback before I make a decision to purchase this.
