I am more pleased with this win than any other of the season so far. The Knicks wins are close, but this came against a legitimately good opponent, a team that is going to be a problem for somebody in the playoffs.

Great exclamation point to the stellar week James Harden has had, too.

This serves as a simple reminder to the grizzlies that they picked Hasheem Thabeet over James Harden.

Hey guys is it just me or whenever Lin goes for a steal especially that one play against Z Randolph, Lin reminds me of Short Round from Temple Of Doom trying to get the Mystical Stones from the Thuggee cult clan....

    What a team effort.

    Beard is untouchable.

Nice assists by Lin. His court vision is amazing.

What I have taken away from the Rockets' recent stretch of good form, is that, Harden, already branded as that superstar player and franchise corner stone, has taken it upon himself to improve as a player and followed through. He used to try and do too much initially, which was okay against scrub teams like Detroit, as he started of the season well. As we faced better teams that approach didn't work. What he's doing now is picking his times to drive the ball a lot better. Given his level of skill at this point in time, it is very easy to forget how young a player he is (The beard can distort age perception as well :p ).

All in all, I am excited to see Jeremy Lin come around a bit more with his scoring. Would like to see, the "Jumping and trapping yourself in the air" turnovers reduced a bit. But there are positive signs for the Lin and Harden backcourt pairing as there was an improvement in distribution of ball control between both of them running the pick and roll while chucking in some ball handling responsibility for Chandler Parsons for good measure.

I am enjoying watching the youngest team in the league go through its trial and tribulations and hope it yields okc-esque results.

That was a dominating win against a good team. You're going to get that with a team like the current Rockets. Very young and talented...so we're going to get great streaks like they're on right now, and just as frustrating low points. I'm expecting a .500 season...with in a couple of games above or below...but the difference this time is that you can finally see the future. They're not far with what they have right now. Give them time together and this is going to be a contending team. If they're still looking for another max player, they need to be careful and make sure it's someone that's not going to screw with what's obviously very good chemistry. Howard and Gasol are perfect examples of players that, while talented, will likely ruin what they have going right now.

I say let the season play out with the current bunch and see what happens. Then they can make an honest assessment of what to add to make this team a real contender.

Finally got a chance to watch the game on league pass. I've said we gonna win this one and the team didn't disappoint. Great to see everyone contributed!

Amazed by that play in the 3rd - from Asik (our best rebounder) to Lin (our best playmaker) to Harden (our best finisher). Rox fast breaks are so much fun to watch.

I haven't watched many games this (been so busy at work), but I saw yesterday's game.

Let me just say that I am SHOCKED and pleasantly surprised as to how well this team is playing. It appears all the players fully understand their roles within the team and they are executing McHale's order to near perfection.

I know we have a very tough January schedule, but if the Rockets can break even on that stretch, they are poised to make a terrific run after the all-star break and hopefully have a glorious playoff appearance.

Agreed. And not only is there light at the end of the tunnel, but the fact that this roster is giving us really exciting basketball almost every game makes it so much easier to be patient with the coaching staff and the FO. Given the chemistry and unselfish team play that's happening, it's easy to imagine that several of the "young" guys could develop into great players. I also imagine that one day, we could be looking back and saying "remember when it all started for these guys, when they were all together on that 2012/13 Rockets team?"
