its virtually impossible with the ticky tac fouls called by the refs for lebron to play over 186 minutes- five games - 2 weeks, grab rebounds, block shots and get steals without even a single foul.

Michael Jordan INVENTED the definition of "star treatment". There's a lot of championships you can't respect then.

There was that period players were over-palming the ball for crossover moves. People blamed the "hip hop" era ESPN highlight playground ball, but it was based partly on emulation of the way their hero Jordan handled and carried the ball. To where they finally had to enforce the carrying rule.

(Thats my view of it at least) "LeTravel" and "crab dribble" had a predecessor

Lebron is playing stellar, guess you have to hate on him for something. Especially something he can't control i.e. refs make the calls

Jordan got away with this stuff all the time. Another reason they r greats. They know how to foul.

Lebron's FTA this season 5.9 per games is the lowest since his rookie season.
So no fouls called on and against him, I think is quite fair.

They are great because refs swallow their whistle when they commit an obvious foul

Well it's not evidence during the streak, but that video is evidence that on the biggest stage of the NBA (the finals) during a play that determines the outcome of a game, Lebron clearly fouls KD. It is not a judgement call. The ref doesn't call the foul on Lebron, the biggest superstar in the NBA. And I actually like his game. Anyhow, just my opinion, but it's a combination of incompetence, favoritism, and the difficulty of officiating the NBA.

i think it might just be a case of they weren't sure if bronbron really had what it takes to step up and win a finals series. but now that he delivered, they'll probably have enough confidence in him to go ahead and make those foul calls on him in the coming years. it'll probably go like that until he gets older, and will then need this kind of ref help again as his skills and stamina wane.

I want to see if LeBron James goes six straight games without being whistled for a single foul tonight.

Credibility of the league in the balance.

I always love when people bring this no-call up.

Durant, with about 5 minutes left to go in the game, had a BLATANT charge that would have been his last foul, but it went uncalled. He shouldn't have even been in the game, yet nobody brings HIS superstar calls and no calls up.

If anyone in the league can defend effectively without fouling, its LeBron.

True, very true. But not a single foul in 5 games? Skeptical.

Still no personal foul, end of 3rd quarter. Nobody can play that good defense, it's a weak argument. The best human being makes mistakes, a slap, push or whatever.

Six games. Six games in a row and an official has still not called a foul on LeBron James.

All superstars with a defensive rep will get some preferential treatment from the refs. Has it been worse than usual? Can't really say until one of these people who's complaining about it actually bothers to put together video evidence of bad no-calls.
