These above are better than nothing, I suppose, but still nothing touches the 'Houston' and 'Rockets' ketchup/mustard ones and the old logo. I've never seen a team so ignorantly drop their original championship colors while they're winning and then also not have the sense to go back to them 15 years down the road. Complete disrespect to the team identity, history, and winning ways. Barf. I knew the run was over when they showed up in London wearing those red/white/blue pajamas - 'Those aren't the Rockets!'
those are timeless. i hope we go back to them next year... all the other teams are rocking updated classic designs anyway.
I was watching the BYU/Baylor game last night, & started to wonder why so many college athletes, and/or their programs, decide to go with the whole "short-sleeve underarmour & jersey" look, as opposed to the NBA, where many choose to just do the jersey. I'm sure some of the players are wearing more than that, they just don't go past the shoulders. Not talking about shooting sleeves or anything like that, just pretty much sleeveless vs non-sleeveless jersey wearing players. Is it personal preference? Are there guidelines concerning it in NCAA & the NBA?

The problem wasn't so much dropping the ketchp and mustard, but replacing it with something completely different AND silly. I'll never understand why the pajamas were signed off on. Some jerseys you hate on day one, but they grow on you, even if just a little, over time. Not the pajamas. edit- ran into this online, dont think i've seen it posted here, looks like a concept created in 05, looks ok, i guess..not great though
What we have now is not the greatest, but some of those fan made concepts are terrible. Why would you want to go back to ketchup and mustard, it's only because we won championships that I like the colour scheme. The dildo concept is even worse. We just need something completely new and imo we should go with Red/Orange/Yellow - Fire colours and the logo is fine as it, maybe do it like on the website (orange / bright yellow blend).
I'd take these over the current jerseys, right now. I actually like the multiple rockets primary logo in a circle with the tertiary star symbol. Design of the tops and bottoms look pretty good too. Anyone savvy enough to cgi these onto Harden or Lin? The only jerseys worse than the current ones were the baggy pajama stripes. Those were beyond horrific.
I can live with the red and silver unis with current logo. The throwbacks are a little bland however. Maybe seam lines need to be different color? The blue and red retros are actually pretty sharp. Dream2Franchise is a very talented designer. But I still like the multiple rockets logo and unis best.
Looks fantastic. Reminds me of Iron Man for some reason. Much better than the current jerseys, which look like pajamas.
I love the 71/72 jerseys and i'd prefer we go back to those. T-Mac and Yao looked awesome in them when they wore them as retros i believe in 07?
Seriously though, what's taking the Rockets so long to go back to red and yellow I'm sure this topic has been discussed ad naseum but I don't check the board every day or even week. What's taking the Rockets so long to switch back to the colors (not necessarily uniforms) of their glory years? And now we see all kinds of teams over the last decade have done that (Pistons, Wizards, Knicks deemphasizing black, Philly, etc...). I'd love to see those red and yellow alternates full time now that the Yao era is over. We can keep the same logo and basic look too.
All our players would look good in that mustard yellow and red now that I think about it.. Get er done Morey.
